Fun Stuff
Sunday night Jody celebrated one year of TOTAL sobriety at her AA meeting. She is very diligently working the program. She said it was quite a moment, as they had Nick present her with her one year chip. They celebrate with birthday cake, flowers, cards, etc. which confused the twins a little since they knew it wasn't her "birthday"! (I asked her to send me pictures to post, but - duh - it is A Anonymous!)

Corynn and Camdyn came for a visit. Chelcie, Madison and I had fun taking them to the parks, playing beauty parlor, going to the Children's Discovery Museum, visiting GG and Grampa Bob and just goofing off!
On Monday, Madison and I packed up the kids and headed back to Downey. We went to visit Grandpa Fred and Grandma Bev. Grandpa was a brave soul as the kids wheeled him around the patio.
We then went and picked up Nick and headed to the park.
It was a fun, family packed weekend!
Our good friends, Mike and Barb, were coming over Sunday to spend Superbowl with us and I wake up with the flu, food poisoning, who knows! So, as I layed like a limp rag in a chair, Mark and Barb put on quite a feast with Mike helping with the clean up. (I ate popsicles - boring!) Doug and Kym came by also.
With everyone but Mike for the Patriots, there was a lot of trash talk going on! (This is something Mark and Mike have been partaking in for years (since they were kids), since Mark is a diehard Dodger fan and Mike is a diehard SF Giants fan.) It was an exciting game and even the Patriots fans were going crazy! You can see the love as Kym found out Doug had won a $200 pool!
Oh how money can change your outlook on something!
last Saturday, I took a pit stop in Yucaipa to put a down payment on a new puppy for my brother John and sister-in-law Lisa. She (the puppy)is a piebald dachsund with some interesting coloring. Isn't she a cutie!
